Apple began rolling out iOS 27 for users here in Australia this week. The update is available for supported iPhone models. To set it up, open Settings. Then tap General. Then tap Software Update. The phone will scan for the update and list it if the device is eligible. Not all older devices will see iOS 27. The release date for iOS 27 is September 14, 2026. So the launch is live now. A number of iPhone users will get the update right away. Others are not eligible. The result depends on the handset.
